Not possible to get A Khata without occupancy certificate

• When you buy a property from builder or developer, obtaining occupancy certificate is mandatory to file A-Khata application
• When you buy a resale property from individual, seller’s A-khata certificate is mandatory to file A-khata application

B-Khata extract is possible for a property without occupancy certificate. However, the valuation of A-khata is better than B-Khata.
