Let me explain this answer with a real example:

Husband and wife jointly own a 2BHK flat in Bangalore. It means that husband owns 50% share and wife owns 50% share in the property.

  • Stamp Duty: Rs. 5000
  • Registration fee Rs. 1000
  • Scanning Fee Rs,35 per page

4. REGISTRATION: We submitted the application on Kaveri Online Service. Our application was approved in 2 working days, Made the payment and booked our registration slot

We need the following documents to submit an application on Kaveri Online Services

  • Registered sale deed (of husband & wife purchased jointly)
  • Current financial Tax paid receipt
  • eKhata
  • Aadhar of Releasor & Releasee
  • Release Deed draft (to be registered)

Releasor, Releasee and two witnesses signed the Release Deed

In the sub-registrar office, the registering officer asked the Releasor, Releasee and 2 witnesses to sit at the registration counter. The officer took the photo from webcam, thumb impression and OTP authentication
