Your Property Tax ID (also known as the Property
Identification Number or Application Number) is a unique identifier assigned to
each property for tax assessment purposes.
HOW TO LOCATE YOUR
PROPERTY TAX ID
You can find your Property Tax ID on your property tax
receipt.
For example, if your property is located within the BBMP limits, your 10-digit
Property Tax ID will be clearly mentioned on the receipt, usually labeled as “Application
Number” or “Property ID”.
(Refer to the encircled section in the sample image below for clarity.)

PROPERTY ID ACROSS DIFFERENT JURISDICTIONS
Whether your property falls under BBMP, BDA, CMC, or Panchayat limits, the Property ID will always be mentioned on your property tax receipt. This number is essential for paying property taxes online, applying for Khata transfer, or verifying ownership details.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU DON’T HAVE A PROPERTY ID
If your property does not have a Property ID, you will need to apply for an e-Khata.
Upon submission, your municipal office will generate a Property ID for your
property along with the e-Khata certificate. Once the application is submitted,
you will get the property ID via registered mobile number with 2-3 working days.
